Using Windows NotePad text editor
The simplest way to create your first HTML documents is by using Windows Notepad. This is a plain text editor, a format which your HTML files are constucted.Generally to locate the notepad application:
- Goto the 'Start' menu.
- Then 'Programs'.
- Then 'Accessories'.
- Then select the 'NotePad' icon.
Notepad is the default Windows HTML editor. If you use your browser to view the source of a web page (HTML document) it will display the text using the Windows Notepad program.
